Huawei launched the Pocket S flip-style foldable phone that you can call a more funky version of the P50 Pocket but at a cheaper price.
Talking about the specs, Huawei Pocket S has an attraction with color options including Obsidian Black, Frost Silver, Mint Green, Sakura Pink, Primrose Gold, and Ice Crystal Blue. These colors are mixed and blended with new design schemes that are different from the P50 Pocket.
In terms of view, Huawei Pocket S offers a 6.9 inch main screen with 1.07 billion colors, an OLED panel, 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300 Hz touch sampling rate, with 2790 x1188 pixels resolution, and 442 PPI for better viewing experience.
On the cover side, it brings 1.04 inches with 16.7 million colors, an OLED panel, a 60Hz refresh rate, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, a 340 x 340-pixel resolution, and 328 PPI.
It has a dual rear camera system including a 40MP main True-Chroma camera (f/1.8 aperture), and a 13MP ultra wide-angle camera (f/2.2 aperture). On the front side, is a 10.7 MP selfie camera (f/2.2 aperture).Talking about its battery, the foldable Huawei Pocket S packs a 4000mAh battery that could recharge with a 40W charger.
The design includes physical keys on the right side including a volume rocker followed by a power button fashioned with a side fingerprint scanner. It has the industry’s first multi-dimensional linkage lifting water drop hinge, multiple buffers between opening and closing, and MIM steel material, more tough and stable.
Huawei Pocket S has passed the test 400,000 times of folding and obtained the world’s first Swiss SGS folding screen mobile phone durability certification.
